Denise Seller Shores Studio of Dance is well known for it’s up-to-date teaching and techniques, and for its patient and creative handling of all abilities…from tiny tots to adults, beginners to professional level. Denise is a second-generation dance instructor with over 30 years of dance experience, majored in psychology and has been a member of Dance Educators of America.

Denise and her students’ accomplishments include:

Won numerous local and national talent contests, including Silo Inn Star Search, and all divisions in the Gaithersburg Talent Contest
Appeared on local and national TV
Denise co-choreographed for the Washington Diplomettes, the kick line for the Diplomats Soccer Team, performing for 35,000 spectators at JFK Stadium in Washington, DC
Denise choreographed for the Montgomery County Junior Miss Pageant
Denise appeared on the famous Steel Pier in Atlantic City, NJ
Denise choreographed for the Miss United Teenager Pageant
Denise and her faculty attend dance seminars and workshops regularly to keep abreast of the latest teaching styles and techniques
Denise trained many dance teachers who are operating successful studios throughout the country
Approved by Montgomery County for physical education credits and community service
